ABOUT
ANDRÉS GABRIEL MORENO
I’m from Cleveland, Ohio, and I’m a Sophomore at the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, double-majoring in Finance and Accounting with a minor in Jewish, Islamic, and Middle Eastern Studies. On campus, I spend a lot of my time thinking about markets and businesses through the WashU Student Investment Fund, WashU Real Estate Club, and Moneythink, where I get to work with other students on real-world investing and financial literacy projects. Outside the classroom, I have run a few small business ventures, from selling dark-chocolate-covered chips and testing healthier snack ideas to managing an online Funko Pop resale store, which has taught me a lot about customers, spreadsheets, and business development.
When I’m not buried in classwork or a new business idea, I love traveling, hiking, playing improv games, and late-night board game sessions. I care a lot about community, whether it's helping younger students build confidence with math and money or working with local organizations back home. I look forward to bringing my passion for community and a self-starter mindset into whatever teams and projects I join next.
